University Of Bristol Designs

Here are some examples of design work that I have created for the University of Bristol. They include signs for display in the cafes and the catering departments. As well as design ideas for the menus to display in the new bar/restaurant Senate House.

Final Major Project – Animations

Here is what i have come up with so far in creating the painted animations.

Ideally i want to put each sequence together to create a short film that creates an eerie atmosphere and use a simple ambient soundtrack to go with it. This would hopefully then be finished for the final degree show.

 

 

Final Project

This is the process i used for creating the animation. I printed the frames in fours on each piece of paper and then made the black and white. I would then use the original image to paint over the colour on each frame.

I chose to use a chiaroscuro lighting and use a DSLR camera using a fast shooting option whilst i was moving around to create a stop motion. Here are some examples.

Resubmission for the Penguin Shortlist

Here is the cover i updated after their suggestions and i submitted this, covered the books with it and included a development board as well as many different types of files of the cover on a usb stick.

They had included some suggestions for me to change the title and paint it in order to fit with the style of the paintings.

Final Major Project

For this project i wanted to create a moving image as i had done before using rotoscoping. I wanted it to be quite dark and eerie and the concept to include mental health and issues that many people go through. I decided to be the model as it became quite personal to me and i felt it related to some issues i had been struggling with whilst living in London and studying the degree.
